Honduras has decided to suspend its recognition of the self-proclaimed 'Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic' (SADR), an entity run by the separatist Polisario Front.

Honduran riot police fired tear gas at approximately 300 students protesting outside the National Congress in Tegucigalpa. The students were demanding that lawmakers reject a proposed cut to the budget of the National Autonomous University of Honduras.
