The Lagos State government is planning to establish new recycling facilities in Badagry and Agbowa. Additionally, the state intends to upgrade existing hospitals and develop a head and neck center in Somolu.

The Lagos Court of Appeal has adjourned a suit challenging the removal of Saheed Aduloju as Abowa of Agbowa-Ikosi, with Aduloju claiming denial of a fair hearing.

The Lagos State House of Assembly has recommended that residents affected by the demolition of waterfront communities in Makoko, Oko-Agbon, and Sogunro be relocated to a proposed low-cost housing estate in the Agbowa area of Epe, where they can continue their fishing activities.
