The 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) will feature a Special Program in Focus honoring the late Korean screen legend Ahn Sung-ki, while its market arm has designated Thailand as the first-ever country of honor.

The 27th Jeonju International Film Festival commenced its 10-day run with the Korean premiere of Kent Jones' 'Late Fame' and a posthumous tribute to late Korean actor Ahn Sung-ki, screening 237 films from 54 countries.
