A Ukrainian An-28 door gunner shot down a Russian Shahed attack drone with an M134 minigun in a dramatic mid-air strike, newly released footage shows.

An aging Antonov An-28 passenger aircraft has been transformed into a platform for hunting Shahed drones, equipped with Gatling guns and drone launchers, utilizing tactics reminiscent of World War I.

During the conflicts in Ukraine, many inventive uses of equipment, objects, and vehicles serving the needs of war have been observed. The Antonov An-28 aircraft has been modified to launch interceptor drones.
