Bello Bodejo, the leader of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, has been arraigned by Nigeria's Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) before a Federal High Court in Abuja on charges of $2.33 million fraud. He was subsequently remanded in EFCC custody.

The Director General of the Abdullahi Bello Bodejo Taraba Central Campaign Council, Adamu Kurmi, has condemned the arrest of their candidate, the president of Miyetti Allah, shortly after his visit to the All Progressives Congress. The council protested the violation of human rights.

Bello Bodejo, National President of Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore and an APC aspirant for the Taraba Central Senatorial seat, has denied allegations that he bought nomination forms with the intention of stepping down for another candidate.
