Water supply has been restored to 7,400 properties in Kent after a significant outage, though around 400 homes in Benenden, Cranbrook, and Rolvenden continue to be affected. Water reserves were reported as critically low during the disruption.

The UK-based Benenden School is considering establishing a branch campus in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, as the city aims to attract foreign educational institutions to its planned economic free zone. Suwon City has signed a memorandum of understanding regarding this initiative.
