Sabyasachi Dutta, a Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader and former Bidhannagar Municipality chairman, has been arrested on charges of extortion and criminal intimidation. During his arrest, he was reportedly met with chants of 'thief' and had eggs and cow dung thrown at him.
