Six tigers belonging to controversial German animal trainer Carmen Zander were seized by authorities after one of the animals severely injured a man.

A tiger was killed after escaping from its enclosure and injuring a man. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the animal's escape from Carmen Zander's facility, which houses eight other captive tigers.
