Dallas McInerney, the head of Catholic Schools NSW, has been dismissed from his position following a damaging appearance before the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC). The inquiry is investigating alleged Liberal party corruption.

Dallas McInerney, the Catholic schools chief, denied wiping critical evidence after performing a factory reset on his phone, telling an inquiry he did so after receiving a security warning from his bank.
