A 21-year-old American soldier, Declan Coady, was killed in a retaliatory Iranian strike on a command center in Kuwait, becoming one of the first US soldiers identified as casualties in the war against Iran.

Those killed also included Capt. Cody Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida; Sgt. 1st Class Noah Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska; and Sgt. Declan Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa.

The four US service members who were killed by an Iranian drone strike during Operation Epic Fury have been identified.
