Catastrophic flash floods and landslides triggered by a glacial ice-rock avalanche in Nepal have killed more than 160 people and left over 1,500 missing, including numerous foreign tourists and pilgrims. International rescue teams have been deployed as authorities warn that a newly formed barrier lake on the Tibetan border could breach within days.
