Pakistan's Senate Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Division (EAD) has unanimously called for an inquiry into foreign-funded power projects, despite the EAD's reluctance to directly order probes into other ministries' projects.

Pakistan's Economic Affairs Division (EAD) and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) have signed a $320.16 million loan agreement. The funds are designated for the reconstruction and upgrade of key sections of the National Highway N-5 across Sindh, Punjab, and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa provinces.
