Argentine directors Ezequiel Salinas and Ramiro Sonzini's film 'The Night Is Fading Away' unanimously won the International Competition's top prize at the 27th Jeonju International Film Festival.

The 27th Jeonju International Film Festival has officially opened, featuring Kent Jones' 'Late Fame' as its opening night film and honoring actor Ahn Sung-ki, following the earlier announcement of its full lineup.

The 27th Jeonju International Film Festival commenced its 10-day run with the Korean premiere of Kent Jones' 'Late Fame' and a posthumous tribute to late Korean actor Ahn Sung-ki, screening 237 films from 54 countries.

The Jeonju International Film Festival is collaborating with Universal Pictures to host special pop-ups and outdoor screenings related to "The Super Mario Galaxy Movie," the sequel to the 2023 "The Super Mario Bros. Movie."
