A court in Katowice has issued a final ruling on the appeal concerning three doctors accused in connection with the death of pregnant Izabela, who died from septic shock in a Pszczyna hospital. One doctor's sentence was stiffened.

Krzysztof Matyjaszczyk, the mayor of Częstochowa, was taken to the National Prosecutor's Office in Katowice on Wednesday evening to face charges, from which he emerged after 8 PM.
