Two individuals from the Naga community were killed in a suspected Kuki militant attack on a village in Manipur, escalating ethnic tensions in the region.

Manipur Police have reported that a convoy came under heavy attack in a hill area by armed Kuki militants who had taken tactical positions along the route.
