New Zealand Approves MDMA Therapy for Severe PTSD Treatment
New Zealand’s pharmaceutical regulator has officially approved the use of MDMA to treat severe post-traumatic stress disorder, making it one of the first countries to sanction the substance for clinical therapy. Only licensed psychiatrists will be permitted to administer the treatment under strict guidelines.
