Television giants Banijay Group and French powerhouse Mediawan Group have expressed acquisition interest in Lionsgate Studios, known for franchises like 'Hunger Games' and 'John Wick'.

French premium label Ego Productions, part of Mediawan Group, and Seoul-based Flix Oven have signed a memorandum of understanding to jointly develop and produce films and series. The agreement was formalized during French President Emmanuel Macron's visit.

Fred Kogel's contract as chief executive officer of Germany's largest independent distribution-production company, Leonine Studios, has been extended until 2028 following an agreement with parent company Mediawan Group, two years after its acquisition.
