Commuters in Delhi are advised of significant traffic congestion on Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, which is expected to last for a month due to ongoing metro construction work.

Continuous heavy rainfall has brought life to a halt in Delhi-NCR, leading to widespread waterlogging and severe traffic congestion across major areas including Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, ITO, and Wazirabad Road.

The Delhi Cabinet has approved two major road projects to alleviate congestion, including clearing Rs 1,635 crore for the final leg of the Barapullah elevated corridor and a six-lane elevated corridor on the Mehrauli-Badarpur road.
