General practitioner Muhammad Iqbal has been jailed after being convicted of sexually assaulting women during examinations following road crashes.

Pakistan's National Assembly has suspended PTI lawmaker Muhammad Iqbal Khan Afridi for the entire upcoming budget session. Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq accused him of repeatedly violating the sanctity of the House through misconduct.

Muhammad Iqbal, a 64-year-old general practitioner, was charged in connection with separate incidents in Darlington and Sunderland in 2023, where he sexually assaulted women he was examining after road traffic accidents.
