An attempt to smuggle mobile phones from China to Pakistan was thwarted near the Khunjerab top by a joint operation involving Pakistan Customs, the Facilitation Mechanisms Team, and local police.

Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has demanded that Pakistan Customs in Karachi release a provincial government vehicle that was wrongly confiscated and issue an apology for the incident.
