Nickelodeon has officially declared July 14 as 'SpongeBob Day,' an annual celebration of the beloved character's birthday, which will include the release of an album by Patrick Star, featuring the single 'Watch Out for That Rake'.

Nickelodeon has renewed its long-running animated series 'SpongeBob SquarePants' for additional seasons, along with its spinoff 'The Patrick Star Show'.
