Patrick Whitesell's WIN Sports Group has expanded its operations by opening a new golf division and appointing veteran agent Brent Hamilton as a partner, signaling the organization's intent to diversify beyond its current focus on football talent.

Excel Sports Management, owned by Goldman Sachs, is teaming up with Patrick Whitesell’s startup, WIN Artists, in an unusual deal. The partnership aims to provide clients with more opportunities in media, while both firms are also reportedly interested in Casey Wasserman's The Team.

Josh Pyatt, one of the industry’s top sports agents, will join WTSL as a partner, bringing his expertise to the firm, founded by Patrick Whitesell and Jason Lubin, and to its WIN Sports Group.

UTA and Patrick Whitesell's firm have submitted offers to acquire the sports and music management company Wasserman, as the bidding deadline passed. WME and CAA reportedly did not participate in the bidding.
