Prudential Life Insurance in Japan posted a 12.6% profit dip after it was revealed that over 100 former and current employees fraudulently received approximately ¥3.1 billion from around 500 customers.

Prudential Life Insurance Japan has suspended sales for an additional 180 days following an increase in complaints related to the alleged misuse of customer funds.
