The Lokayukta in Karnataka has established a high-level committee to implement systemic reforms following a probe into the Public Distribution System (PDS).

The Union Agriculture Minister announced that the Coconut Development Board has written to states, requesting the inclusion of coconut oil in the Public Distribution System (PDS).
