Singapore is studying the feasibility of undersea tunnels to connect Tekong to the mainland and planning major transformations for Sentosa and Pulau Brani, including new attractions and enhanced connectivity between the two islands and the mainland.

Singapore has announced a two-decade-long plan to transform Sentosa and Pulau Brani into a major tourism destination, featuring new attractions like beachfronts, canopy walks, and an integrated transport hub. The ambitious project aims to upgrade the holiday islands and link them with new developments.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) has inaugurated a new four-storey marine headquarters on Pulau Brani, equipped with real-time surveillance technology and advanced ship rescue training facilities.
