India has approved Qdenga, its first dengue vaccine, for individuals aged 4 to 60. The vaccine is administered in two doses three months apart and is one of only a few dengue vaccines available globally.

The Food and Drug Administration in the Philippines is currently assessing a proposed dengue vaccine, Qdenga. Malacañang reminded the public to continue taking precautionary measures against the mosquito-borne viral illness.
