Ian Rumsey, the newly appointed CEO of ITN, admitted in an email to staff that his elevation to the position was a surprise, following the unexpected departure of Rachel Corp.

Rachel Corp has stepped down from her role as chief executive of ITN, effective immediately. She stated her departure is to pursue new opportunities.
