Woman and grandchild drown in swollen river in Davao del Sur
An elderly barangay health worker and her 5-year-old grandchild drowned after being swept away by raging floodwaters while crossing a swollen river in Davao del Sur, Philippines. Their bodies were retrieved by search and rescue personnel.
