Actor Vijay has launched a specialized 'Singappen' force dedicated to women's safety, backed by a substantial allocation of Rs 354 crore and incorporating drone surveillance. He emphasized that punishment for crimes against women will be severe.

The Tamil Nadu government has ordered the creation of a 'Singappen Special Task Force,' a dedicated police wing aimed at enhancing women's safety. This special unit will operate under the direct supervision of the Chief Minister.
