Tropical cyclone Luis has weakened into a Low Pressure Area (LPA) and, along with another LPA, is expected to bring heavy rains on August 4.

Classes at all levels and government work in La Union, Philippines, have been suspended on Tuesday, August 4, as the province remains under an Orange Rainfall Warning due to Tropical Cyclone Luis and the southwest monsoon.
