Dr. Umar Ardo, a prominent promoter of the All Democratic Alliance (ADA), has pledged to legally challenge the registration of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), alleging irregularities in its recognition by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Umar Ardo argues that the ongoing crisis within the opposition coalition was a foreseeable error, stating they should have formed a new party instead of merging with the ADC.

The Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused Dr. Umar Ardo of the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) of making false claims regarding the due process of NDC's registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
