Three individuals, including the brother of the escaped inmate Ilyas Kherbouch (known as 'Ganito') and a prison guard, have been taken into custody following his escape from Villepinte prison in March.

A highly violent and repeatedly convicted criminal, known as 'Ganito,' escaped from Villepinte prison in France on Saturday, accompanied by two individuals posing as police officers. His escape was reported two days later.

Prison guards blocked Villepinte prison in France, protesting severe overcrowding and expressing 'total fed up' with magistrates, following a Council of Europe report condemning the state of French prisons.

Ilyas Kherbouch, known as 'Ganito', who escaped from Villepinte prison on March 7, was arrested on Friday evening in Canet-en-Roussillon and subsequently presented to Parisian judges.
