On August 7th, the 24th annual Martha’s Vineyard African-American Film Festival kicked off its events, activations, and film screenings with a riveting, exclusive clips-and-conversation event featuring director and co-screenwriter of Children of Blood and Bone, Gina Prince-Bythewood, star Thuso Mbedu, and moderator, television host, and The View’s Sunny Hostin, who revealed never-before-seen clips of the forthcoming African fantasy film and shared details on making the film.
