Czech Authorities to Monitor Úhlava River Water Quality Amid Pollution Concerns
The Vltava River Basin Authority is installing new measuring equipment in Klatovy to monitor the water quality of the Úhlava River, the sole source of drinking water for Plzeň. Hydrobiologists suspect that so-called relieved wastewater from sewage systems is polluting the river.
