Drought Leads to Emergency Slaughtering, Calls for Aid Package in Austria

Due to fodder shortages caused by drought, three times the usual number of slaughter cows are being marketed in Austria, many at up to a quarter cheaper, leading to calls from the FPÖ for a rapid drought relief package.
