Man's fast ruined by fungus-contaminated juice; court awards Rs 70,000

A Himachal Pradesh consumer commission found Dabur India liable for selling contaminated juice. The company must pay one lakh rupees for compensation and costs. A man discovered fungus in his Real Fruit Power Mosambi juice pack. He suffered emotional and spiritual distress while observing a religious fast. The commission cited manufacturing defects and negligence in its ruling.
