Costa Rica Implements New Fines for Illegal Park Entry and Unauthorized Tours
Costa Rica will begin enforcing new fines on April 30 against individuals who enter national parks and other protected wild areas through illegal access points or participate in unauthorized activities within them. The measure was published yesterday to crack down on illicit tourism.
