Rhode Island man who fled 2005 rape trial arrested in New York
Ronald L. Fischer, a Rhode Island man who vanished before his 2005 rape conviction, has been arrested in New York after more than 20 years on the run. Authorities apprehended him on a sailboat in the East River.
