Chinese firm buys Palliser Furniture months after Winnipeg company complains of unfair Asian trade practices

China-based MotoMotion Furniture acquired Palliser Furniture in May — three months after the struggling Winnipeg manufacturer complained Canada hasn't done enough to protect the domestic furniture industry from unfair trade practices in Asia.
