NIA targets 3.1 million children as Ghana Card registration for ages 6–14 resumes May 5

The National Identification Authority (NIA) says it is targeting about 3.1 million children nationwide as Ghana Card registration for children aged between 6 and 14 years resumes on Tuesday, May 5, beginning with the Volta and Oti Regions. Speaking on the exercise, Executive Secretary of the NIA, Wisdom Kwaku Deku, said the move forms part of efforts to expand access to the national identity system and ensure children are captured early for future public services.
