Ljubljana Hospital Sees Surge in Injuries Amid High Temperatures

Ljubljana University Medical Centre has reported a significant increase in injuries over the past eight days, with over 200 patients daily and 13 resuscitations, attributed to the strain caused by high temperatures.

Na UKC Ljubljana so v zadnjih osmih dneh na urgentnem kirurškem bloku vsak dan obravnavali več kot 200 poškodovancev, 13 so jih morali oživljati, je pojasnil travmatolog Radoš Vidmar. Razloge za to vidi v večji obremenitvi zaradi visokih temperatur. V hribih se zaradi dehidracije, slabosti in kolapsov večkrat poškodujejo tudi mladi, je dejal.
