Immigration to Germany Decreased in 2025, Federal Statistical Office Reports
The German Federal Statistical Office reported a significant decrease in immigration to Germany in 2025 compared to the previous year, attributed partly to a reduction in asylum seekers from Syria and Afghanistan, as well as fewer immigrants from EU countries.
