Residents Lease Contaminated Land to State After Benzene Spill in Czech Republic
Following a train derailment last February that contaminated land and groundwater with benzene in Hustopeče nad Bečvou, residents are now leasing their affected properties to the state-owned company Diamo for remediation efforts.
