Polish IPN investigates German crimes in psychiatric hospital during WWII, unpunished doctor received FRG Cross of Merit
Investigators from Poland's Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) are probing crimes committed by Germans against patients at a psychiatric hospital in Lubliniec, who were victims of the T4 euthanasia program. The doctors were never prosecuted, and Dr. Elisabeth Hecker later received the FRG Cross of Merit.
