Dispute over extensions: Weimer cancels award ceremony for German Bookstore Prize

Due to suspicion of extremism, Weimer removed three bookstores from the nominee list for the German Bookstore Prize. This caused criticism. Now the Minister of State for Culture is canceling the award ceremony.
