Groundwater Levels Critically Low in Czech Republic's Liberec Region
Groundwater levels in the Czech Republic have significantly deteriorated, with over half of the wells in the Liberec region reporting exceptionally subnormal levels. Hydrological drought is particularly severe in the Česká Lípa and Semily areas, requiring water management interventions as reserves are not expected to replenish before winter.
