Tokyo Fire Department Develops Extinguishing Agent for Lithium-Ion Battery Fires

The Tokyo Fire Department is collaborating with private companies to research and develop a new fire extinguishing agent specifically for lithium-ion battery fires, in response to a sharp increase in incidents involving such batteries.
