Pesticides sales in EU up by 8% in 2024

(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, MAY 26 - In 2024, 316,000 tonnes of pesticides were sold in the European Union, marking an 8% increase compared with 2023, according to Eurostat data. The EU statistics office said this was a "reversal of trend" following two consecutive years of declining sales.
