Cavaliers nearly complete stunning turnaround at home

Virginia nearly completed a remarkable comeback Sunday afternoon, but the Cavaliers were edged 83-82 by Virginia Tech in the closing seconds at John Paul Jones Arena. Trailing by as many as 23 points in the first half, Virginia (19-10, 11-7 ACC) stormed back behind a sensational second-half effort from Kymora Johnson. The sophomore guard poured in 25 of her 26 points after halftime, helping the Cavaliers outscore the Hokies 54-40 over the final two quarters.
