Knesset Passes Law on Police Investigations

Israel's Knesset has passed new legislation that places internal police investigations under the authority of the Justice Ministry. The bill, sponsored by Likud MK Moshe Saada, passed with 43 lawmakers in favor and 39 against after a lengthy debate.
